- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. IDB-P1045023-08/22 of 30 august 2022.
- The Government of Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank toward the cost of Foreign Investment and Export Promotion Program, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for the Supply and Installation of IT Equipment.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply, delivery and installation of IT equipment, which is divided in three lots:
Bidders may bid for one lot or for multiple lots. The bidder shall provide evidence of availability in the Purchaser’s Country of after-sales services for the equipment offered in the Bid. - The Request for Bids will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Policies for the Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Policies.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation; Mrs. Jean Djasman, peu-procurement@sita.sr, and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 09.00 a.m. – 14.00 p.m. Suriname Time.
- Qualifications requirements are included in sections III and IV of the bidding documents. A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English will be emailed by the PEU to the interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below. The Bidding Documents will be sent by email.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 13.00 hours SRT, February 14, 2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person or on-line at the address below at 13.00 hours SRT, February 14, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
