Aftercare Officer (mostly Investment but also Trade)

Description:
Primarily concerned with operationalizing investments and developing relationships with Multi-National Corporations (MNC’s) operating in Suriname and local investors, with the intent to provide Aftercare and Facilitation services and encourage expansion and referrals for additional investment.

• Meet with and develop relationships with local Multinationals and domestic businesses towards fulfilling SITA’s mandate
• Proactive Aftercare Servicing – maintain relationships with established companies and fulfill ongoing requirements to retain companies and encourage expansion.
• Utilize high levels of initiative, creative problem solving and consistent follow through in leveraging a network of government, regulatory and service provider experts to create clear information, procedures, and solutions for investor companies.
• Monitor company and industry developments and communicate the opportunities and threats to management, experts, stakeholders and policy makers.
• Support role in providing investment project assistance, aftercare support for operational issues or expansion projects.
• Submission of Investor Issue Reports and Policy Recommendations for actioning by the line ministries, as required.
• Visibly support and champion the Organization’s goals and objectives
• Comply fully with the Organization’s policies and procedures, and adhere to the Organization’s Core Values and Charter of Business Ethics by daily demonstration of associated behavior.
• Perform any other duties as required by the job function.
