Export Program Officer

Description:
Work closely with all members of the team and provide support across our action plan to achieve results for the threefold mandate of the division: trade and export promotion, international business growth, and local linkages. The main purpose of this role is to assist companies in the trajectory to become export-ready and entering international markets.

• Actively promote the Export Initiation Program
• Identify SMEs that are motivated and willing to dedicate the necessary resources to the internationalization process and meet entry requirements.
• Create a pool of resource persons (tutors) to support the Export Program through coaching and training of SMEs
• Organize export readiness capacity building activities
• Implement the export capability building program for local companies seeking to initiate export activities in the areas of regulatory compliance, info on trade and finance, logistics, customs, packaging and pricing, among others.
• Organize and facilitate trainings for local companies to achieve international product standard requirements.
