Investment Promotion & Targeting Officer

Description:
Work closely with all members of the team and provide support across our action plan to achieve results for the threefold mandate of the division: investment promotion, facilitation of investors and aftercare services.

• Identify specific investment opportunities in the domain of Foreign Direct Investments, manage pipeline and action plan, communicate relevant information to team
• Manage reporting processes and tools and monitor client developments
• Plan, manage and participate on promotional activities in Suriname and abroad
• Provide support in investment mobilization strategies work plan implementation and other activities to meet targets
• Monitor developments and desk research in relation to local/regional and global business/economic developments
• Visibly support and champion the Agency’s goals and objectives.
• Comply fully with the Agency’s policies and procedures, and adhere to the Agency’s Core Values and Charter of Business Ethics by daily demonstration of associated behavior.
