SIAL Paris 2026
Collective Suriname Delegation
SITA is organising a collective Suriname delegation to SIAL Paris 2026, the world’s leading food innovation trade fair. Places are available for 6 exhibitors and a maximum of 9 trade visitors (walkers).
✔ The booth space on the collective Suriname stand is made available completely free of charge by SITA. Travel and accommodation costs are in principle the responsibility of the participating company, with possible partial coverage through the Cost-Sharing Grant.
Registration does not automatically mean selection. Places are limited and will be assessed transparently based on product-market fit, production capacity, export ambition, Surinamese identity, food safety, and market requirements.
Why Participate?
Benefits for Exhibitors
🏛 Free Booth Space: Present your products on a professional, collective Suriname stand of 76 m² for maximum visibility at minimal cost. Booth space costs are fully covered by SITA.
🤝 Targeted B2B Meetings: Approximately 5 to 8 pre-scheduled meetings with relevant international buyers and distributors.
📣 Broad Promotion & Catalogue: A media campaign around the fair and inclusion in the official (digital) participant catalogue, distributed among international buyers and trade fair visitors.
🎓 Coaching & Training by Experienced Consultants: Prepare professionally with guidance from experienced international trade consultants. Through targeted pre-fair sessions, you will learn how to present your products effectively, engage buyers, and sharpen your pitch for the international market.
💰 Additional Funding (Optional): Use the Cost-Sharing Grant to cover additional costs such as marketing materials or the shipment of samples — if you have a SITA export plan.
Benefits for Walkers
📅 Meetings at the Stand: Conduct your targeted B2B appointments professionally at the meeting tables on the Suriname stand.
📈 Learn, Get Inspired & Discover Trends: Explore the latest international food trends, innovations, and market standards, and observe how other Surinamese businesses present themselves — and learn directly from their approach.
🎓 Coaching & Training: Pre-fair coaching and training by international trade experts — so you can optimally prepare your B2B conversations, product positioning, and export profile.
📘 Inclusion in the Official Digital Participant Brochure: Companies that meet the basic requirements — English-language product information, a professional online channel, and stable capacity — are eligible for inclusion in the official Suriname SIAL brochure.
💰 Additional Funding (Optional): Use the Cost-Sharing Grant to cover part of your fair access and travel costs — if you have a SITA export plan.
Cost-Sharing Grant (CSG) — Financial Support for Your International Growth
Participating in SIAL Paris is an investment — and SITA is here to help you manage it. Through the Cost-Sharing Grant (CSG), SITA reimburses a substantial portion of your SIAL-related costs: from your flights and hotel to samples and marketing materials.
Don’t yet have an Export Marketing Plan (EMP) or Export Marketing Strategy (EMS)? That is also covered — for 85% of the costs. The CSG not only lowers the threshold to SIAL, but also lays the export foundations for your business. The grant covers 6 cost categories, with contributions of up to 90%.
What does the Cost-Sharing Grant cover?
For Exhibitors: Use the grant for marketing materials, samples, or travel costs to Paris. Don’t yet have an EMP/EMS? SITA covers 85% of those costs — so you start well prepared.
For Walkers: Cover your flights, hotel, fair access, and marketing materials through the grant. No EMP or EMS yet? SITA covers 85% of the costs for your export plan — making SIAL your starting point for a broader export strategy.
✅ Already have an approved Export Marketing Strategy? You can apply for the CSG directly. Don’t have one yet? No problem — SITA will support you in developing it and covers 85% of those costs. Ask about it when you register.
